Tips from the pros: How to start your First day of your animation Job?

You are an animator and after trying very hard you finally got your first ever animation job. May be it's your dream Job. But what will you do one your first day of your job? Tensed? No worries its same as every other job. Here are some tips from the Pros. All you have to do is follow just four steps.

1. Do your homework - Research on the project that you will be working on and try and learn their style of animation. This can be done the week before you start your job .

2. Know your character well - Get acquainted with the characters of the project you are working on and try to know their characteristics and how they are animated. If possible

watch few a episodes telecasted before.

3. Test the rig - Check the rig of the character, move, rotate and try to make easy poses and test it with a simple animation. Often the rig controllers are hidden and there are additional controllers which you may miss. Do not dive into animation at first.

4. Friendship - Befriend with some senior animators as they will prove to be your animation guide in future. It may sound funny but you will surely learn from your seniors animators. They are always better.
